I remember at the dedication of the Vietnam Memorial in DC, meeting a vet who had hiked in from the mid-west with his dog. He had a backpack holding his clothes, etc. and the dog’s food. The dog had on side packs holding the man’s beer.

When someone told her to go take a hike she took it literally and poor Max is getting the worse part of it!

Rex needs to take a dip in the first stream he sees. The only loss would be the dog treats.

The Indigenous of North America tamed and trained wolves/dogs to be pack animals as there were no horses here until the 1600’s.
