I looked out one morning and saw something in our birdbath that was unusual. There was an immature White-tailed Hawk bathing. Of course, I had no camera to take a picture.
I found our birdbath knocked over one morning. It was more likely done by a deer or a bear than an eagle. Although I have seen squirrels jump up on it to drink the water.

I can’t believe he admitted that, or at least didn’t embellish it. I swooped down for a fish and was attacked by a bear.
