Instead of a intervention you two need to do a exorcism. Bobby has been possessed.

“Dogs and cats living together…” are human sacrifices and mass hysteria next?

we kept trying to explain to our girl that she needed to vigorously defend her food dish from the cats, just as her mean and growling mom had done, but she kept backing away and patiently letting the cats eat her food…

My neighbour has a dog and a cat. When she walks the dog, the cat always follows along. Same thing with my niece’s pets.

There’s a YT video showing a Staffi who from puppyhood grew up with kittens. Two years later there’s a shot of one of the cats on a kitchen counter. The Staffi is perched atop the fridge.

I had cat who loved all dogs even those he met when we went for walks with the dog. He did not like other cats though. He was a stray I took off the street so I have no idea how he was raised. He almost died of grief when my dog died suddenly. But I got another dog and so all was well.

We had a cat once that was raised from a kitten with dogs, she thought she was a dog.

The neighbor’s cat was a “cat chaser”. He chased my adult cats at every opportunity. Didn’t fight. Just chased. Then I got a kitten. He feinted, as though he was going to chase, and she took a step toward him instead of away, touching him nose-to-nose. He had some kind of epiphany, turned away, thinking about how the world had changed. As she grew up, they became great friends. He’s still occasionally a cat chaser; he chased away a cat that was attacking her.
