In Winter, in northern Maine, they place portable signs on the I-95 to warn drivers to watch for Eagles on the highway. I guess if an eagle makes a kill, they tend to land on the highway to devour their catch.

Getting run over by a golf cart is a real worry, now that Trump has more time for it!

Eagles do migrate, to a limited extent. Eagles from northern Canada and Alaska often winter around the Black Hills in South Dakota.

The bald eagles here are a sub species. They stay all year, are slightly smaller and breed in the winter. They are also highly protected and have gone from about ten breeding pairs to over 50. Hooray!.
