Good job. They are messy, but at least they clean up after themselves, unlike my husband when he does dinner.

But where’s the squirrels? Don’t tell me you finally catches them and eats them, dog.

Some of the bird seed I bought this year that the birds knocked or dropped have begun to sprout. So, I gently lifted two sunflower seedlings and two millet seedlings and transplanted them into a container (20" deep x 24" wide tree pot) and we shall see.

We love watching our birdfeeder. Little birds get the seed from the feeder easily, starlings and grackles get some but it’s harder work for them, pigeons, squirrels and rabbits clean up everything knocked to the ground. Our own little piece of wilderness on a city street.

We have a turkey that comes almost every morning and cleans up the ground. He’s so shy we have to peek out the blinds so he doesn’t turn and run.

My wonderful Parrot Toby, would stand on top of his cage and drop corn kernels, carrots, apple pieces and anything he had in his dish right into my dog’s mouths. It was fun for him and my dogs just loved it. It was so entertaining for all of us. Those are such great memories.

I had a feeder for the gold finches and they left quite a bit on the ground for the quail.
