    I’m constantly surprised that the whales aren’t eating these annoying tourists. Some of the “holiday vids” show them WAY too close to the animals. >:-(

    81% of plastic in the Pacific ocean comes from Asian rivers. They need to stop using their rivers as garbage removal systems, burn it!

    Only way to drastically reduce plastic is World mandate that all consumer products that are in plastic have to be in aluminum or glass.

    Cruise ships are also responsible for a great deal of the waste dumped in the oceans. It’s a shame they can’t be responsible for what is creating their business in the first place.

    Soapbox: Don’t buy bottled water unless it is for an emergency. The water is some city’s water filtered, and put in plastic. The plastic leaches into the water. Drink tap water from a glass or metal container. I once operated a reverse osmosis plant that purified water.
