The same way very young children put everything into their mouths.

Hi there folks, what you say

Step aside partners, it’s not my day

Bend an ear and listen to my version

Of a really solid dog that sees no excusion

    Pardon me, dog

Are you the ragamuffin chew chew? (yes yes)

    Pic twenty-nine

Boy, you can gimme no shine

I can’t afford to hoard a more of your wild chew chew

I’ve got my share And just a trifle to spare

My shepherd is 4 years old and still eats/chews every thing that will fit in his mouth.

You were a puppy then. Maybe, it’s time to stop.

We unexpectedly brought home a 2-month-old puppy and had no toys for her. My sister quickly donated an old, worn-out, outgrown pair of jeans from her girls. We cut the legs off and tied one huge knot in the middle of each one. Voila! The puppy had chew toys! When she got big enough to get her mouth around enough of it, she’d proudly carry one around the house with her and chew in several locales.

Puppies are nature’s way of teaching us to put our stuff away.

Our four month old shepherd mix has chewed a hole in the drywall, destroyed two rugs, three packs of my daughter’s colouring pencils (I keep TELLING her to put the @#$# things away!) and peed on every square inch of carpet we have (ironically avoiding the tiles or anything non absorbent.)

    Never again.
