Could happen, I kept one alive for 3 years. Moving to a different climate was its downfall.

The original Poinsettias are trees that can grow taller than a house! I never throw away a living plant (it just seems wrong!), and I’ve had Poinsettias bloom for a second Christmas.

In Santa Barbara, the climate is mild and the soil so fertile, I planted a poinsettia after Christmas and it eventually grew as high as the roof.

We had one for almost a year, once. They’re a plant and just need proper care. (We now return you to humorous comments)
