At least the leaf blowers have a little purpose and certain right to exist…but doncha worry, my seafriend! As I hear, the steward just mixed up a passenger’s order for “asparagus” with “iceberg”…

All petrol/gas powered gardening devices. Also, electric ones at full speed for no reason.

Seismic ships are the worst.

I loathe the sound of leaf-blowers.

I guess the best you can say about leaf blowers is that they get the job done fast. But some absolutely stink of gas which the neighbours (us) get the benefit? of .

Like a bass thumping car outside your window (or a bloc away for that matter), it muddles the clarity of what you’re trying to listen to.

Just wait till the Whales come back to Earth to check on their colony…

Onboard submarine we used to hear a banging noise that we were told was a ‘carpenter fish’. I later found that these were sperm whales.

As maddeningly intrusive/annoying as leaf blowers can be upon humans and every other living thing within audio range, the total negative effect of them is at best barely comparable to the negative — often existential — outcomes upon aquatic life forms resulting from from intrusive human-generated ocean racket.

Active SONAR is like a dentist’s drill.

Leaf blowers HA, more like whale killers they are.

A couple more inches higher and they’d have been more like a chain saw!

Washington DC voted to make it illegal to operate gas fired leaf blowers in the City. It has been 10 months of bliss! Now if they would get rid of gas lawn mowers I would be in pig heaven.
