Lassie, Border Collie – Timmy, Border Klutz.

Lassie looks a bit like a fox.

This strip gave me my first big laugh this morning.

Lassie never really cared about Timmy. Keeping that stupid kid alive just meant more lucrative film contracts.

What Timmy fall down well again?

Maybe Timmy needs a leash and harness.

Kat Lassie, by contrast, went home, ate, played with toys for a bit, and took a nap, completely forgetting about Timmy.

Just for information sake, on Lassie, Timmy never fell down a well…just sayin’

…and someone running from the bear (or something) always falls down and twists their ankle….

I know he was caught in quicksand during a camping trip.

Then there was that time he found the anti-gravity harness, and fell up a chimney.

I’d probably need a therapist too, in Lassie’s place.

Collie’s are supposed to herd their charges away from trouble. I have seen good border collies herd children. That’s the trouble with movie star dogs. :)
