No, it’s a good one. Especially like the profound swipe at the Great Man theory of history. How many, indeed?

@tecumseh18Agree completely. Now if only Tim Tripp could team up with Percival Dunwoody…

@ChikukuAh, yes, but then how many before Mr. Tripp himself becomes the new Hitler?

Lucky Ducky should have his turn again soon, what with Romney’s tax plan & all…

Yes, there is a profound truth in the Time Traveler episode, not so much about any theory of history but certainly about Germany at that time.

I once read a comment from an author on German history who wrote that there was no evidence that the general German population knew what was going on in the camps, but it would not have made any difference if they did.

Another author wrote that it is false to think the Nazis recruited sociopaths to staff the camps; quite the opposite, they used ordinary German soldiers as an experiment in getting ordinary people to do whatever the State ordered.

Yes… Yes, I’d know that blundering, disembodied manifestation of malign moronity anywhere. The fool fed me some tripe about men with no magic, flying upon metal birds, dropping eggs- EGGS, of all things- capable of killing cities. Utter hogwash.
