Well, if we just let the billionaires keep it, that will conclusively disprove that ‘trickle-down’ theory.

Why can’t the coconut guy just eat coconuts?

That last panel is a real kick in the coconuts…

Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day.

Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime.

Claim ownership of all the fish, hire the man to catch them, and sell him back the fruits of his labor at a profit, that’s capitalism!

so why doesn’t the fisherman just trade the coconut guy for coconut milk? Seems the only guy with all three is the hut guy

Simple enough that even the densest should be able to get it.

Some people keep saying: “There’s going to be a recession”. Lots of people quit spending in order to have enough money to make it through a recession. Then the drop in spending causes businesses to cut back, which (surprise, surprise) causes a recession. Self fulfilling prophecy, and the original screamers look like oracles.

And the moral is, rugged individualism sucks.
