When I was taking Russian, we were encouraged to watch a Russian film shown in an art-film establishment. I took Mom along, because why not? (This was before the Internet and IMDB.) They had subtitles for people like her, and I needed them too at that point. The guy behind us seemed to be dozing.
Then a naked shower scene broke out. I wanted to sink through the floor, but Mom was rather amused: she said the guy behind us sat up and took notice, or anyway his breathing sped up markedly. Unfortunately for him, that was the only token nude scene in the movie.
