I have a friend like that. I will still show up on time, order my lunch, and begin to eat it. If I am done by the time she shows up, we don’t eat at the same time. I got tired of all the waiting. If I go later, she does too, even later. We used to meet up to walk at 8:15a. She would show up at 8:30a. I would also, then she would show up at 8:45a. Eventually we were at 10:30a, and it was completely unhelpful for the time I had available. I went back to early and walked alone until she showed up. Once I was walking out the door after an hour walk (we met in a mall before it opened) and she was walking in, an hour late, and didn’t seem to understand that I intended to go home. Over the years, she has improved. Somewhat. She is actually a very good friend.
