    in 2009, pilots “Sully” Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles successfully landed their damaged jet, which had lost all power, in the Hudson River in New York City, saving the lives of all 155 people onboard, not to mention the countless people on the ground who could have died if that plane had crashed in New York.
