The town where my wife works has a 100 year old event- venue building with very unique architecture. City council wants to tear it down and spend $11 million for a new, modern building. Voter referendum was 3-1 in favor of fixing up the old building and NOT getting a new one. But city council is ignoring the voters’ wishes!
