Reminds me of the old GRIT newspaper I delivered as a kid. There was always a full page ad for Miracle Grow on the back with a picture of a little kid next to a gargantuan vegetable. I never saw anything that huge come out of our garden and when asked Grandma just said she probably wasn’t doing it right. My sister and I were a little disappointed when no 10 ft. pumpkins emerged.

As a child who didn’t like vegetables – I totally would have subscribed to an end of world scenario involving giant tomatoes.
