Spud, you’re a child. Children build immunity by sharing germs. Shove that cone in your face and inhale deeply the joy of comradeship.

When my grandson drops food (piece of pop-cycle, etc) I tell him he is a hero to the ants. That way he doesn’t get mad and cry.

The seagulls must follow Spud like they follow the fishing boats – at least I think it’s multiple gulls; it could just be one lucky gull!

I would’ve thought we would’ve gotten a mini thank you from the gull? Wallace…I’m proud to say I see my boys in you. (thankfully, not much Sterling tho)

15 years from now when they are on the beach in folding chairs in the moonlight, watching Amelia dance next to the bonfire, with them sharing beers, nachos, and a pizza, they’ll talk about this incident.
