The best part of today’s cartoon for me is the way Dad stops what he’s doing, and picks Wallace up to eye level, then sets him on the counter to talk with him. Nicely done!
To a kid it all sounds good. As an adult it get complicated. It’s like people who want to work for themselves and be “their own boss”. Good luck with that. Everyone of your customers is your boss

It’s winter in Chile now. I’d love to get away from this 90° weather.

Does Wallace have only one pair of swim trunks, or seven identical pairs?
Andrew Wheeler over 4 years ago
No, actually, you can’t. Let me introduce you to a little thing called the Darien Gap.

My 7yo twins actually had this exact conversation with me (panels 1-2) a few weeks ago… Mind blown.

I’ve driven to get takeout chili, but never to Chile.

Keep in mind going that far south does not necessarily end well.

Why Chile?

OK, Mr. McCee, tell Wallace the truth: kids can get away with a helluva lot more of what they want to do than an adult ever could.
