What kind of awards is a manure pile eligible for? Best Mound? Best organic components?

What the heck, it’s been a slow week…funny thing, Wallace’s mother would be totally on board with this!

As Mom always said, “Kids wash.” She once ordered the 3 of us to peel right there in the yard and hosed our bare skin off.

I notice that lately Wallace has been adding a beach towel cape to his summer wardrobe. Cool! I did that when my sister and I would run through the back yard sprinkler.

I would go watch. Sounds like fun.

Indeed, the cartoon characters don’t come much braver than Wallace. I just hope the methane levels are down if they take sparklers.

Good thing it is a manure slurry pit. Anyway, this doesn’t bode well for Wallace but somehow Spud will end up the loser.

Methane producing manure pile and sparklers- what could possibly go wrong?

Amelia is always available to attend any event where Wallace is sure to make a fool of himself or fail at.

Once I interviewed a farmer who had a 1000 head organic hog farm. He also had 10,000 acres of crop land that he swapped between corn and soybeans. All organic. He used the hog manure to generate via a huge digester, both heat and Gas, the latter he used in refitted tractors. The leftovers side-dressed the crops. I did the interview on a 100F day. Even with the digester, it was very pungent,
