Amelia is the best!

“I thought you were going to say that *you had it….”

“As God as my witness, I thought pumpkins could fly.”

After setting the scene and today’s denouement, might as well cue up Beautiful Day and fade to black.

She threw it! And it was EPIC!

Amelia, you rock in a mighty way! I am SOOOO glad you did it!

Sometimes you just gotta let go.

Just beautiful. And, to her, totally worth it.

Wow! I don’t know how to say this without sounding dirty – but that was probably the most controlled and epic build to a resolution – the truest definition of a climax one could EVER find in a comic!!Will had us all! Excited, watching, holding our breath, begging for release, and cheering! Yes! …and sighing with relief – right along-side Amelia, with a pleased grin on our faces as we wait to see the principal. YES!! True artistry is alive and well! I am so buying these books – I want this one for sure!

It was worth the suspension

I’d feel a little better about this one if Will hadn’t drawn all those kids so close to ground-zero.

Hoorah!!! The look on her face in the last panel is priceless! And, by the way: there were no pumpkins harmed in the making of this comic!

Will Henry is the master of showing the not-so-innocent, innocence of youth with such a heart warming illustrations!

That is pretty much a perfect comic strip right there.

And now she is thinking that this totally trumps the “Pudding incident” that had her in this same seat once before.

Oh well, missed my bet from Tuesday, but dang, that’s a lot of pumpkin guts out of a modest sized pumpkin

Sure was a lot of pumpkin in that pumpkin, wasn’t there?

Too bad this wasn’t a crossover with this week’s gigantic pumpkin story arc in “Adam@Home”.

It’s not like everyone did not have plenty of warning, to get out of the way.

This story arc has been an absolute delight!

Glad no one got hurt. She did the crime and is actually looking forward to doing the time unlike many others in our society…..

The expressions on the … targets are epic! Even the seagull!

My stepdaughter once told me – while suffering a parental punishment for something she had done and sitting through the parental lecture, she replied to something I said with, “of course I knew it was ‘wrong’! I knew you would catch me, and I knew you would punish me, and that is why I am sitting here smiling with you listening to lecture #4.” Seeing Amelia in the last frame reminds me of that.

Wonderful second panel!

That was one juicy fruit.

I love the precision of the depiction of the pumpkin-guts spread. Even Big Gunther’s beanie propeller is carefully half-coated. But I keep coming back to look at Amelia’s giant smile – it makes me so happy every time! :-)

That is disgusting but well-done artwork.
