If it attracts critters, that’s just one more reason for Wallace to hide it in his room. Wildlife sanctuary!

Wallace’s mother will eventually grab that sweatshirt and either clean it or put it the trash. As all comic book collectors know, mothers always destroy the things we love.

Yesterday the special guest stone was the Seeing Stone.

Today, in panel one, three stacked Hoodoo Stones.

‘Three-stacked-rocks’ is a marker of a trail. There are 2 other stacks within eyesight of this stack:One for ‘backward’.The other ‘onward’.

In high school football we had these white workout uniforms. We were responsible for keeping them clean, and that included our red and white game uniforms. One guy, a big lineman, decided not to clean his practice uniform. It turned a color of grey with black and green streaks. It smelled something like dill pickles. We demanded he wash it. When he denied it stank we said all as one “YES IT DOES!” He eventually washed it. Yuck.

Getting tickled by animals licking and nibbling at the sweatshirt will be the logical outcome. He’s a young St Francis anyway, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Mom washing the sweatshirt might be though…..

I’m always disappointed that the seagulls around here aren’t as wise and witty as the ones in Snug Harbor.
