I’m kind of wondering how Sterling pulled of the El Castillo look with colored pencils!

Big Betty comes to Spud’s defense. But even she wouldn’t stand a chance.

That last panel is so well-done! No doubt they’ll repeatedly have that reaction to the hilariously disturbing Sterling for decades to come :-D

I will say this warms my heart to little Sterling…a bit. I’m impressed not only with his skill, but it doesn’t have an ounce of evil in it. I thought that mischievous grin would be more sinister.

Poor Wallace. Although he will have 23 kids handing him a pencil to use in the next panel.

Neanderthal DNA. That explains a lot.

Suspicions confirmed. Sterling’s preponderance of caveman DNA is proved.

I am surprised Mom, who is usually so cool to Wallace’s eccentricities , should freak over what is REALLY great talent shown by Sterling…bit of a bias showing Mom!!

Reminds me of a Peanuts scene: when Lucy grudgingly lets Linus use a few of her crayons (black, gray, and white), he channels Michelangelo. (I may be conflating old memories of two separate strips.)
