Poor Spud. Socially inept, or worse.

Gary’s the most interesting thing in your life, Spud.

But if you talked about him, they’d probably lock you away somewhere.

Spud, Spud, Spud. Didn’t your momma warn you about making rash decisions?

Spud’s where it’s at!

Spud, have you considered having a conversation with a dermatologist?

And yet he’s baring his heart to Rose.

But you’re Wallace’s best friend, remember that!

Bring out some snacks, Spud, and you’ll be surrounded. It will be a flock of seagulls, but you’ll still be surrounded.

Wallace is kinda the anti-Charley Brown … popular, the center of attention.

Simple. Wallace says and does what he wants and feels. Spud, you need to stop being so afraid to do that. Wallace is so confidant that he does not even consider potential negative consequences until it is too late. He just considers the possible positive outcomes.

You might think Amelia does the same but most of what she does is to get attention for it. Wallace does it because he thinks he will get enjoyment out of it.

At least stop showing people the rash.

There is always one somewhat like Wallace in every group. Remember though, he considers you his best friend forever and rarely goes on any adventure without you. The traits you have he likes, needs and wants. You are both special in your own ways…….

I would’ve thought Wallace was the most interesting thing in your life, Spud, as this conversation has already demonstrated.

Seriously – I’d much rather have a conversation with Spud than Wallace!

I think people get tired of his rhapsodizing about ranch dressing.
