I’m wondering, where does the seagull sleep at night? Does he have his own place, or does he sleep at the foot of someone’s bed?

Nah – go ahead and go past the docks. The few longshoremen that are still employed unloading crates are way too busy to taunt little kids.

choices like my GPS gives, 54 miles no tolls or toll road, add 18 miles, Save 1 minute. I’m going sightseeing again. Be careful near National forests, if your GPS suggest NFS ### they are dirt roads mostly and you have to forge a creek.

Wallace could put one of those kiddie safety harnesses on him – the type with a springy leash!

Wallace being practical!?!? He’s all for Spud taking a dive, just on a day where it can be appreciated in its fullest, like a fine wine.

So, if they don’t have “that kinda daylight” I have to assume they haven’t got time to go the long way and the docks it is.

I seems I have seen the passage of time and place depicted in the second panel before? Nice.

I just can’t believe that Spud doesn’t have every shortcut to Amelia’s memorized from any location he might be starting from

I like the suspended whale image. It’s so patently “just because.”
