Well, Dad’s right. I don’t see a single seagull anywhere, so far. But we know they can fly!

Wallace’s comment gives me an idea of where this story arc is going- I predict he falls asleep during the play and dreams of 3 spirits!

My father wasn’t perfect but he was a good man. And, I can’t ever remember him referring to us as “little maniacs.” Not that it wouldn’t have been accurate, mind you.

Still sort of implies he may have considered it at some point though.

And the holidays have only just begun. Hopefully there is a lot of fire still in Wallace’s furnace. Actually, I think is another set up……….

Regardless Spud will end up on that stage

So when I first read that first line I got interrupted and all I read was “OK, you little maniacs let’s check our coats and head”

Needless to say, I was a little disconcerted until I got back to read it in its entirety. My first thought was that Sterling was not there so who could be holding a head.

That second panel is so deceptively peaceful, but you can sense we are on the cusp.

Spud’s hair looks like swirled whipped cream. Or toothpaste.

C’mon Spud you need to do a little X-Mas rapping.

Hmm. Nice foreshadowing. Now appearing: Rapper Spud!

I would like to see a wrestling match between spud and scrooge

Spud is still trying to recuperate from the Christmas tree lighting debacle.

If he does do it, would he be Christmas rapping?
