Someone needs to throw a beach towel over Mom’s shins. Burnt shins are the worst.

When the hole gets that deep at the beach, digging deeper is futile because of the water table.

I love to do Bury Dad when it’s hot at the beach. I carve myself a recliner and ask “who want to bury Dad?” kids scramble to cover me and I’m trapped in cool sand.

How far up on the beach is that? We’d never be able to dig that deep at the beach I grew up going to. It would fill with water and sand would continually break from the side to fill it in.
