I love Wallace beyond words

I bet the seagull would show more interest if the feeder was full of french fries …

I was trying to respond to the fan who caught the goldfinch in a top hat, but it wouldn’t post. Now the comment is gone, too. Anyway, I didn’t catch the hat even though I looked them all over minutely.

Ornithologists sure have quite the hobby.

If the mountain won’t come to Mohammad, hang up a bigger feeder.

Oh look, its the Top Hatted Yellow Belly White Wing Warbler!

I like the bird sitting on the rock in front.

There should be a squirrel trying to get to the feeder.

I hope Wallace has more seed in his bag. The birds will empty that feeder in a flash.

Seagull takes a nap secure in the fact that he is Wallace’s favorite! Love all those little birdies!!

Great idea! Wallace can study birds and observe them at the same time.

I can almost hear the soundtrack. Some sort of low, pastoral music.

I don’t feed in summer as the birds should eat naturally and I really don’t want bears in the yard. I won’t feed this winter because of the rats. I feel bad about that, but watcha gonna do? And it isn’t my imagination, I saw them.

I have two bird feeders in my backyard that turns it into Wild Kingdom. It’s awesome!

Seagull is bored with all the birds!

Patience is required: it takes them a while to find a new feeder.

Once again you seem to somehow to know my childhood…no wonder “Wallace” is my favorite stip among the many, many I read!

I’m pretty new to this strip, and I love the art…… esp. today’s!

Also, am just discovering the seagull, who seems to be in most strips. Is he supposed to be a pet??

Being one himself, Seagull doesn’t need a bird book to know all about them.

Love this. A request: don’t put out birdseed with millet in it. It’s the favorite food of House Sparrows, a non-native invasive species that will murder every songbird in whatever it considers its territory during nesting season by putting their beaks through the native birds’ brains and their eggs. They decimate the local populations. Millet attracts them. It’s also a cheap filler for cheap birdseed. Please don’t buy it.

I never get dapper birds in top hats at MY bird feeders…

Nice that he chose birdseed that a wide variety of birds liked. Hopefully there is enough for everyone while they lay over before they continue in with their migration.

Can you imagine if Wallace had lived on Bodega Bay? Love Birds for everyone!!
