I’m so very, very confused

So, the crayon caught Spud strictly by providence?

That crayon looks kind of sketchy to me..

Missing panel: a panoramic view from behind towards the water with Wallace in the boat and Spud walking toward him and us. No seagull that I can see, but there are butterflies around the bushes that are between the us and the beach. Have a blessed Sunday!

The crayon has captured the seagull. It has now gone too far.

When I think “Ends of the Earth”, I also think of Rhode Island.

Why bring those helpless commuters into this retributive act?

This reminds me of a really neat trilogy I got recently: wordless stories involving magical crayons (Journey, Quest, & Return). Beautiful artwork.
