So, the crayon caught Spud strictly by providence?

Missing panel: a panoramic view from behind towards the water with Wallace in the boat and Spud walking toward him and us. No seagull that I can see, but there are butterflies around the bushes that are between the us and the beach. Have a blessed Sunday!

Leave it to Spud to take a simple pleasure and turn it into a nightmare.

Is it pronounced “Dr. SpudSTEIN” or “Dr. SputSTEEN”?

Hmm. I-Gor and Frankensteen can relate. RIP Marty Feldman and Gene Wilder.

Seagull is powerless against orange crayons. True story.

There’s good magic, dark magic, and bad magic. Everyone knows that.

The crayon has captured the seagull. It has now gone too far.

When I think “Ends of the Earth”, I also think of Rhode Island.

This reminds me of a really neat trilogy I got recently: wordless stories involving magical crayons (Journey, Quest, & Return). Beautiful artwork.
