Can you really imagine Tony Stark going to see the wizard of Oz? What would he ask for anyway?

Iron man vs. Tin man. Who will win and why?

Poor Mom..all that work and no appreciation. Been there done that. Um, Little Bo Peep with a stuffed cat isn’t the same. Ya think I could find a stuffed sheep….anywhere?

Mom’s going to go full Dorothy on the family soon.

Mrs M you shoudl’ve known this wouldn’t work. Or at least swapped a few around: let your husband be the lion, sterling be the scarecrow and wallace be the tin man. That has more dignity and a gory backstory. he’d love it.

I guess Seagull is donning his monkey costume.

Something tells me.that “The wizard of Oz” is very important for mom. Maybe her childhood favourite musical?

Wallace can be Toto! or a flying monkey!

Sterling steals the scene. What superpowers does Tin Man have?

When my children were small, 16 years ago, we did this same family costume, but with me as tin man, daughter as Dorothy, Mrs. as the witch and babe-in-arms as the lion. When folks asked where the straw man was, I said there was a bonfire earlier, folks were drinking and, well, I never really liked that guy.

…Really. You gave the character who traditionally carries an axe to Sterling. Sterling.

Think about that for a second.

Okay. This is not exactly working as planned….

That’s the problem with going as a theme. No doubt, Wallace will be making some alterations to his costume.

How about Rocky & Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha? Or maybe Dudley Do-Right, Nell Fenwick and Snidley Whiplash. They’d need another character—maybe Dudley’s horse, Horse.

When you think about it: Oz never DID give nothing to the Tin Man that he didn’t already have.

Just a sidebar…I love that Will letters all his dialog by hand. It takes extra time to do that. Yeah, there’s fonts available, but it’s just not the same. Thanks, Will!
