Rose not only needing a break but actually admitting she needed a break enough to actually do something about it? That’s actually kinda big for Rose—normally they have to twist her arm in order to get her to play along with things like this.

I remember the first time I had to make a “fully adult father” type phone call. Was truly a learning experiance. All I could think was, “Oh my gosh, the poor kid is screwed!”
