Seagull taking a snooze. Rose….not good.

Plot Twist: The teacher agrees, and lets Rose take her place for a week. Rose nearly explodes out of mere frustration, due to how utterly ridiculously underpaid she is for all the work she must do. From creating lesson plans based on new curriculums that she wasn’t properly informed about, to dealing with parents who claim to know everything, Rose quits after the sixth day. In the end, she vows never to criticize her teacher again.

Went grocery shopping today. Hardly anyone in the store. No panic buying like the newspaper predicted.

To err is human, to be a pain in the a$$ is also – sadly – human.

The number of errors I found in my college level courses was scary. But I only pointed them out if they were especially egregious, and only to the professor, not the entire class..

Mrs. Macintosh can probably slap a gold sticker directly on Roses column (on that chart) without even looking.

I’ve had kids like that in my classroom (retired after 35 years)… they don’t like it when they’re called out for making mistakes…(I also enjoyed Will’s signature this morning).
