I guess we all know where the coffee guy is headed after his shift. Someone will be waiting for him in the parking lot.

One day, when I was the manager of a chocolate shop, a big delivery came before my afternoon/closing shift started.
A new product I’d been expecting had arrived… holiday “chocolates” with a coating called “White Satin”.
With an excess of enthusiasm, the woman who was working the opening shift had started putting it out…
she wasn’t supposed to, but, you know, she was trying to please me by having it ready when I walked in.
Not finding the signage, she’d also broken another rule….
Using a marker to write out new labels for the little dishes in the glass display counter…
I arrived to see a couple of regular customers getting samples…
and at least a dozen flavors already on display, with her tidy little handmade signs:
I think my favorite was Solid White Satan Bells.
Sigh….
This truly made me LOL
