    Left page: The Bakery, at night. Something is going on here, I’m afraid we won’t learn much more though, too bad. I just don’t have enough time. Washerei = Laundry.

    Right page is a description of our two heros. One, the smaller fellow, seems like a pleasant kinda guy, the other a dark, brooding mess. The author wonders how these two, so vastly different (like fire and water) can get along.
