Odd turn of events.

Whoa! From the future, not the past! Didn’t expect that. We now know Alexa becomes a baking legend. The power source is still magically shielded. In hindsight, I think even Ethan (who isn’t a baker) might have heard of Alexa, based on some of his comments.

There are a series of SF stories that are similar to this but the agents are immortal and can’t get to the future only the past. Excellent development.

Alexa seems to come from our time, but this future doesn’t seem very futuristic, all that equipment looks rather dated.

…well! Didn’t see that coming.

But in retrospect, maybe I should’ve, because after all, Gluttony was everywhere the hotel existed in time, and if he had actually been from the time period he was implying, I would think that would predate the hotel itself.

Looks like that cell phone was predestined to get left behind then. That wraps up any worries I had about it, then.
