If the honour guard had been 2 meters closer it would have been shiska-Rodney. Then he might have got a purple heart.
That’s the only way he’ll get on.
He never got one for getting an arrow in the butt?
They are Brave troops in ID? Where?
Bravery is relative in Id. The slow retreaters appear to be braver than Rodney.
You could argue that just living in Id merits a medal.
He got biff’d. Well, OUCH!
Talk about an embarrassing moment at an important ceremony.
(21 year service vet w/combat awards from Army & USMC) - I’ve known soldiers who have tried such stunts…
Let’s get ready to stumblllllllllllle!
Id relies on Rodney’s brains and bravery. He just wants to serve a long time and not be remembered on Memorial Day.
This reminds of that great scene that was in the intro to F Troop, where Captain Parmenter was being awarded a medal for heroism and bled when the medal was pinned to his chest, so they awarded him a Purple Heart on the spot.
I thought he fainted at the sight of blood, Sheik. Likely my alz. kicking in.
“And for daring to serve with Sir Rodney on the war, The King’s Fingers Cross.”
Leave to The Fink to come up with a witty respone to Rodney’s misfortune.
