I’ve never known anybody who died from being ‘overweight’. They always get something else unrelated to their weight and die thin when their body can’t keep up anymore.
(And although I didn’t ‘know’ him, this even includes Ernest Hemingway. He kept a record of his weight on his bathroom wall, and it was going down, not up.)
