dkram: you really should try Warcraft. I’ve been playing with my husband for over a year now, and really enjoy it. (he’s been playing since the first stand-alone version and joined the MMORPG soon after it started.)
Back when I was playing First Edition D&D, we ran across a scenario, wherein we entered a tomb. The DM said that we had found the “Sword of Imortality”. Our Thief Hobbit asked, “Sword of Imortality? What’s it doing in a crypt?”
Word up? I’m watching Word Girl as we speak. It’s either that or a court show and I like the more intelligent programming, lijke cartoons made for 8 year-olds.
I only saw one episode (or short series of episodes) of Have Gun Will Travel, it was only in these last few years, and now I can’t even remember where or when.
And I’ve forgotten almost everything I ever saw of Wild Wild West, which I loved when it was on. About the only thing I remember now is some sneaky technical trick Our Heroes used to get two hurtingly pretty ladies into their arms out of sheer terror (just before the standard ending of their train getting ready to go).

Have Gun Will Travel reads the card of a man. A knight without armor in a savage land.
His fast gun for hire head’s the calling wind. A soldier of fotune is the man called Paladin.
Paladin, Paladin Where do you roam? Paladin, Paladin, Far, far from home.

If the armor is in a store, it didn’t do the Paladin much good.
