I would have received the same 3% as a worker, but between mortgage interest deduction, personal deduction, child deductions, education deduction, wife deduction, and state sales tax deduction, I didn’t have to pay a dime so 3% didn’t help me. Those lousy “rich” with their write offs though——–
Lew, I feel for you. You KNOW you should have gotten that 3% back even if they had to give you more than you paid, right? Because it’s only fair, that you should get someone else’s money back once the government has run out of your money to give you back.
