You mean the king’s favorite jester does not have open credit at the bar. Oh wait. He works for the king who is a tightwad so the bartender knows he doesn’t have any money. That would explain it.
And being the King’s jester is an extremely hazardous job. He could be beheaded at any moment, and I doubt he has life insurance to cover his debts!
I think Norm’s (Cheers) bar tab was larger. If I remember correctly, Sam pulled out a 5”, 3-ring binder.
