It would take longer than that. Just be glad we were not talking about Blanche.

Read somewhere recently that the most masculine look is 7 to 10 days of beard growth. Probably courtesy of the old Miami Vice, and the new Marvel Agents of Shield. Agent Coulson hasn’t stopped shaving though.

Now that I’m retired, I only shave when I feel like it. Oh, I don’t let my beard and mustache grow so the hairs get into my mouth when eating, but sometimes a few days go by and I decide it is time!

For several years, I let my beard grow, and trimmed it occasionally; I wasn’t into the Santa look! Besides, my beard wasn’t gray…yet.

One day, 30 some years ago, I shaved to bare skin, and just left the mustache, and remained that way until @ 3 years ago, when I decided it was time to go naked… and that is how it is these days; although I still only shave every few days!

    I don’t think anyone gives a crap, and I’m okay with that…

Well I am an XX gene carrying wool growing mammal, and once in a while a male cohort of mine has ticked me off so I have challenged them to the bet. I am post menopausal enough, but this time the ginger is coming in white so it’s really showing this time. If my fellow can wear a pink ribbon for me in October I can shame some guys into getting the GROW OUT. We all usually call it a tie, have the grand scissoring /mow, tithe the bet and go have a cold one.

As for my fellow, he’s been growing brillo since before we got married all those decades ago. After a week it gets soft. He was going to shave and I gave him the hairbrush bristles first and said PUCKER UP. 30 odd years later he still has beard and moustache. And he is a good man he puts up with my annual round of lip fur for the sake of a good cause. MOVEMBER, Just Grow It!
