I have no respect for a magician that “uses” editing television footage to make you think you are watching magic. I was totally fed up with Copperfield when he made a train disappear on stage. Everyone was in on it and it was completely bogus.
I love a good magician, one who makes me stop trying to figure out how he does it so I just watch in mindless wonder. The stage magician I saw on a cruise repeatedly produced bowling balls – they rumbled as he rolled them off stage – in his hand from under a handkerchief still amazes me. Doing it once would have been interesting, but daring us to see how even when we could see it coming was nervy.

Aye It’s just like politics,it’s all salesmanship. Find out what the customer wants and then appear to give it to them.
