The skipper of a 40 ton trawler which ran aground in Hull during the early hours of Sunday was reported to be 6 times over the legal limit for sailing. Authorities said they had no idea what to do with a drunken sailor early in the morning.

Why are Saturday and Sunday so strong?

Because the rest of the days are weakdays.

Sunday is a day of rest and today is Mothering Sunday here in the UK. Sadly, my Mum has been having eternal rest for nearly thirteen years. She died on 23 March 2011. That was exactly one month after her youngest grandson’s thirtieth birthday and exactly two months before the day which would have been her eighty-fourth birthday.

Is Wiz staining the reputation of this comic?

Saturday is the Sabbath and a day of rest; Sunday is the first day of the week.

For the cartoonist too, I see.

That’s why when my wife asked for a deck, I talked her into a stone patio. No maintenance.

It’s only a rest day if you get everything done on Saturday.

Monday, I have to do yard work. Sigh.

I am at work. I get paid to watch people work. Today there are a grand total of three people here for me to look after. I get paid double time for that since it is Sunday.
