Something tied to a trademark dispute where the Candy is now trademarked and can’t be used in game titles at least without paying royalties.

It’s not all that addictive. _ It’s the same match-3 game designed as a “puzzle” game, but it mostly involves getting just lucky enough to pass some of the more convoluted stages. It’s all designed to urge people to pay for bonuses. Terrible game, terrible monetization model, and terrible visuals (creepy a** paper dolls).

Something like Edison getting the jump (and false credit) on Tesla by applying for patents based of Telsa’s work before the real genius did.

She’s a sore loser. But yeah, the game is an old concept. Bejeweled is one of those along with a couple of others.

Yes, and wee bit of Tetris, but with a different objective to it.

I’m always happy to see my 2 favorite characters together in a strip. I’ve been happy since you guys brought Madam Shannon back.

Wouldn’t it have been better to put a curse on everybody else who plays the game?

Basically King stole the whole design for Candy Crush from Candy Swipe. They then pulled some fast deals to buy up an old defunct company that used the name Candy Crusher way back in 2004 so now they can say they had the rights to the name before Candy Swipe and can therefore negate Candy Swipes Copyright and totally get away with literally stealing an independent developers game from him. It’s disgusting!

Open letter to King.com who wants to cancel the registration of the CandySwipe trademark.
