Here Rita has nothing on my boss. Emails, reports, meetings, presentations – you name it. The only thing he has not micromanaged are my trips to the bathroom. Thank goodness he is trying for Medical Retirement.
I was a typesetter for 10 years back in the late 80’s early 90’s and I always HATED it when a customer wanted to stand behind me and watch me design what ever it was that they wanted. Mostly it was brochures and by the time I had it like they wanted, I would not buy that product, vote for that person, eat at that restaurant or what ever…….ugh!!!
I once had a boss who had a habit of sneaking quietly up behind me and looking over my shoulder when I was using the dictaphone. I “accidentally” ran over his foot one day.
Sometimes micro is too big of a unit for what is being measured. That looks like nano management. The micro micro manager that picks at everything is a 10^-12, or pico manager.
Two copies, distract the Fermi-manager and send the one that should be sent. Later when my knowledge of how to write and spell and make sense would make them look good; just keep face shut. Been there and survived the lack of estrogen. Poor Jay. (Fermi, smaller than pico)
Don’t you just hate it when your boss is looking over your shoulder and you suddenly turn and “accidentally” shove him to the floor and then say you didn’t see him there, but you’re sorry about him being on the floor.
