Sadly today I am Roy. I am really looking forward to this announcement tomorrow. I have no worn a watch since my EMT days but I may go back to wearing one…
as I understand, it will be displayed tomorrow, but sales will start till next year. The most probable sales card will be that it will be used for payments (NFC), though, even though Android phones have included NFC and Google wallet for quite a while, it has not catched up.. I don’t see what else can they include in a watch that is not already included in a watch of some other brandis also my guess that if that is the strong point of this watch (compared to a gazillion smart watches already there, including the new round LG or Moto 360), they delay sales till they can convince stores to include NFC payment points.Just a guess, but if for example you are gonna validate the payments with your fingerprint, if they steal your watch they steal your money (as your fingerprint is already imprinted there in finger grease)just guesses till they show it tomorrow. Actually, I don’t see any use for these (besides of reading messages instead of reading them in the phone that is already in my pocket), but lusting for a Moto 360 myself
@johnzakourYes acronyms are needed to speed things up, however the point is there are 71 meanings for EMT on acronymfinder.com and we do not know your past. I work where buzzword bingo is filled with meeting speakers spewing acronyms and buzzwords by the bucketful. In the end slowing down the meeting while people try to fill in which meaning to apply.

Why am I flashing on Cartman having himself buried under snow to be thawed out so he won’t have to count the days when the first Wii was released?

A little too true … Still made me laugh, though.
