Perl? What kind of language is that? Real languages are all in CAPS like LISP, ALGOL, FORTRAN, COBOL, etc.

Is the new IT guy going to share his house with Ed or will Ed share his desk with the new guy. Just remember, if the new guy brings in his assistant Woodstock hide the root beer.

Our IT people hate us. They hate users. They think users are stupid and lazy and liars. Constantly, calls one of us because her email is over the limit every hour. The amount of dust inside the machine is bad. Keyboards are full of crumbs. Found so many fake nails lodged in the copy machine. Bandwidth hogs they hate.

“It was a dark and stormy night…” Oh, wait, that’s the novel Snoopy was writing. IT might be simpler for him, since he could never get past the first few lines of the novel.

I loved Perl. But that’s actually an adlib by Scott — good job Scott.

As a Network Admin, I must note that there is a considerable difference between programmers and IT folk. While I don’t expect Rita to understand the difference, the programmers on staff would.
