Used to take our newborn to movies. For the most part slept through them. However we always made a point to be nearest we could be to the door incase he woke and started fussing so we could leave quickly so as not to interrupt others.
when my hubby and I went to the latest Star Wars someone in the audience began loudly narrating the opening credit crawl. Another individual just as loudly said, “Don’t do that!” and first guy shut up. Hubby and I applauded silently.
and I agree with some of the posters that you probably shouldn’t bring a baby or very small child to many movies. There are enough loud, startling sounds in your average action adventure to startle a sleeping baby awake.

Roy seems to be growing some social smarts, or maybe self-preservation is just kicking in for once. :)

Take the Rey to her first movie.
That is what I would do, that is what I did.

I really miss drive-ins! You could take your young kids and just put them down to sleep for the movie.
