I have some people I work with, who I won’t be working with much longer. (Still working, just moving to a new project.) We chat with people around the world now, and they want me to get a FB account. I ask, in all sincerity, what are some of the benefits of FB, for one who is considering it? What are some of the drawbacks?
And that is why I don’t do FB. There is enough nastiness in the world that I don’t need to have it shoved in my ‘Face. I know you can block stuff, but if I don’t get on, I don’t need to worry about blocking it.
The main benefit is that Working Daze has its own Facebook page.
Which someone without a Facebook account can read (and with one judicious little Adblock Plus custom filter enabled, can read without that annoying obtrusive login reminder) ☺
