I kind of get a kick when people talk about the Y2K furor. When I was a programmer back in the 80s, we were already planning for the 2000s. All we did was make the year a 4 digit number and check for greater than 1900 and we were good to go. Not a problem.
It would seem that no one noticed Nelson decomposing. Rita being that unobservant, I can believe, but surely Dana or one of the other employees would have noticed. And yes, I do know it’s a comic strip.
